Parineeti Chopra’s Mother-in-law Rushed to Hospital During ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ Shoot; Filming Halted

Parineeti Chopra and her husband Raghav Chadha were all set to appear as guests on the popular television series, The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, the shoot had to be abruptly halted due to an unexpected medical emergency.

According to multiple online reports, the incident occurred when Raghav’s mother and Parineeti’s mother-in-law, Alka Chadha, suddenly fell ill during the filming. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention. As a result, the shooting of the episode was cancelled partway through.

The upcoming episode was slated to feature Parineeti, Raghav, and Alka Chadha together, but sources reveal that Alka’s sudden illness disrupted the filming process. A new date for the episode will reportedly be scheduled once she has recovered and the family, along with the show’s team, are available.

Additionally, the show’s host Kapil Sharma has been facing his own challenges lately. There was a recent gunfire incident at his Cap’s Cafe in Canada, which has reportedly caused concern over the production schedule of The Great Indian Kapil Show. While rumors circulated that the comedian might put his Netflix show on hold, Kapil has continued with his professional commitments. He has yet to make any personal statement regarding the shooting at his cafe.

A statement issued by Cap’s Cafe read: “We opened Cap’s Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up.”

As fans await updates on Alka Chadha’s recovery and the rescheduling of the episode, everyone is hopeful for her swift return to health and the eventual airing of the much-awaited appearance by Parineeti and Raghav.
