Recently, Mumbai businessman Deepak Kothari filed a complaint against the couple with the Economic Offenses Wing, accusing them of a ₹60.4 crore fraud. Kothari alleges that between 2015 and 2023, he invested money in Shilpa and Raj’s company, only for the funds to be used for their personal expenses instead of business purposes. Shilpa’s lawyer has denied all allegations, but investigations are ongoing.
