Renowned Actor Fish Venkat Passes Away at 53 Due to Financial Crisis and Illness

Veteran actor Fish Venkat has passed away at the age of 53. He had been struggling with severe financial difficulties, which prevented him from receiving adequate medical treatment. While many may not recognize Fish Venkat by name, his face was a familiar one on the screen.

According to reports, Fish Venkat had been suffering from kidney and liver failure for a long time. He was admitted to the hospital and placed on a ventilator. His daughter had publicly appealed for financial assistance, stating that ₹50 lakh (approximately $60,000) was needed for a kidney transplant. However, due to the unavailability of a suitable donor and his deteriorating health, Fish Venkat succumbed to his illnesses.

News of his demise has cast a pall of grief over the film industry. Fish Venkat’s real name was Mangalapalli Venkatesh. He was well known for his unique accent and impeccable comic timing. Over his career, he appeared in more than 100 films, including hits like “Adi,” “Gabbar Singh,” “Adhurs,” “DJ Tillu,” “Bunny,” and “Khushi.” Through his memorable performances, he carved a special place in the hearts of audiences.

His last film was “Coffee With a Killer.” Fish Venkat worked alongside many leading stars such as Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja, and Nagarjuna. During his time of need, “Baahubali” star Prabhas stepped forward to extend help, as revealed by Fish Venkat’s daughter.

Despite his daughter’s appeals for help from stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, and Jr. NTR, timely assistance could not be arranged, and ultimately, Fish Venkat lost his battle with life. His death has also raised questions about the film industry and why his family was unable to raise ₹50 lakh in time. Many are asking why the film fraternity did not do more to help before it was too late.
