Controversy Erupts Over Viral Video: Renu Tiwari Denies Making Derogatory Remarks Against Yadav Community

A fresh controversy has erupted following the Etawah storyteller incident, with political tension rising across the country and a perceived divide between the Yadav and Brahmin communities. The situation escalated after a case was filed against Renu Tiwari, who had served as the yajman (ritual host) at the religious event, by members of the Yadav community at Bakewar police station in Etawah district.

The complaint against Renu Tiwari alleges that a viral video circulating on social media shows her making highly derogatory comments about Yadavs, particularly Yadav women. In the video, she is purportedly heard saying that “Yaduvanshis deserve the harshest punishment; only their hair has been cut, but their heads should be cut off.” She allegedly made further objectionable remarks about Yadav women that have been widely condemned.

The FIR details these alleged offenses. However, as soon as the case was filed, Renu Tiwari appeared before the media, strongly denying the allegations. She claimed the video was doctored and her words were twisted out of context. “I did not say any such thing. The video has been edited and misrepresented. I respect all communities,” Tiwari stated, accusing the media of conspiring against her.

When asked what action she would like to see, Tiwari demanded a thorough investigation to identify who was behind the circulation of the misleading video. “Check all my videos—nowhere have I used any casteist or abusive language,” she insisted.

Renu Tiwari is a member of the Parikshit family, which hosted the Bhagwat Katha event at the center of the controversy. After the incident, she herself had accused the storyteller and his associate of inappropriate behavior, which led to the viral videos and subsequent backlash against her. Now, after the FIR, she is seeking to clear her name.

The incident continues to fuel debate and tension, with calls for a fair investigation into the authenticity of the viral video and the allegations made by both sides.
