After Chandan Mishra’s M*rder, Chaos Erupts at Paras Hospital: Family Demands Justice, SIT Formed

Patna – The corridors of Paras Hospital remained tense and chaotic following the sensational murder of notorious criminal Chandan Mishra. Scenes of outrage played out as Mishra’s family and supporters protested inside the hospital, accusing the police administration of complicity and negligence in the killing.

Chandan Mishra की ह/त्या के बाद Paras Hospital के बाहर बवाल, पुलिस-परिजन भिड़े

According to reports, the incident unfolded on the morning of July 17, when five armed assailants entered Paras Hospital, made their way to the second floor, and barged into room 209, where Chandan Mishra was admitted for treatment. Without hesitation, the shooters opened fire repeatedly, killing Mishra on the spot before fleeing the hospital premises with astonishing ease.

CCTV footage from the hospital has captured the gunmen entering confidently, weapons in hand, and then escaping just as brazenly. The crime has left both hospital security and law enforcement facing intense scrutiny. Mishra, a well-known criminal from Buxar, faced numerous criminal cases, and his murder has set off a series of protests and allegations.

Soon after the incident, heavy police deployment took over the hospital grounds to maintain order. However, Mishra’s family members staged loud demonstrations, blocking roads and raising slogans against the authorities. They charged that the police were colluding with the killers and had failed to ensure his safety, despite his high-profile criminal status.

To disperse protestors and clear the blockade, police were forced to use mild force. Tensions remain high, with an atmosphere of palpable unrest persisting at the hospital and in surrounding areas.

Authorities have set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to expedite the case and track down Mishra’s killers. The family, however, remains steadfast in their demands: immediate arrests and accountability for all those involved.

The coming days will reveal how swiftly and effectively the SIT can bring the culprits to justice—a matter that is now being watched closely by the entire state.
