Constable’s Wife Accuses Husband and In-Laws of Harassment in Emotional Video, Dies by Suicide

In a two-minute and twelve-second video, the wife of a constable can be seen crying as she accuses her husband, Anurag Singh, of harassment and torture. The woman emotionally alleges that her in-laws and husband subjected her to intense abuse, saying: “They make me suffer so much, torture me a lot. They say, ‘You didn’t bring anything for dowry, kill her.’”

The constable’s wife further claimed that her in-laws wanted her husband to marry a second time, and that she was being tortured for this reason. In her tearful message, she pleaded for strict action against her husband and his family, stating, “Yogi Ji, Modi Ji say ‘Save the daughter, educate the daughter,’ but daughters are not safe anywhere. Nothing happens to these people, there is no justice for anyone.”

Reports state that the woman had married for love. Following her suicide, the police have registered a case in the matter.
