Constable’s Wife Accuses Husband of Torture in Emotional Viral Video, Dies by Suicide

In a heartbreaking two-minute video that has gone viral, the wife of a police constable can be seen crying and accusing her husband, Anurag Singh, of severe mental and physical torture. The woman alleges that her in-laws have been relentlessly harassing her, reportedly pressuring her for dowry and, ultimately, attempting to push her husband into a second marriage.

“They make me suffer so much, they beat me, they torture me. They say, ‘You brought nothing for dowry, so kill her’,” the woman says tearfully in the video. She appeals for strict action against her husband and her in-laws, claiming they want to get her out of the way for a second marriage.

Despite government claims about protecting and empowering daughters, she cries out for justice, saying, “Yogi ji, Modi ji say ‘save daughters, educate daughters’, but daughters are not safe anywhere. Nothing happens to such people. There is no justice.”

It has been reported that the couple had a love marriage, but this did not shield her from years of alleged abuse. Following the release of this emotional video, the woman tragically died by suicide. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

The incident has sparked outrage and renewed the conversation on dowry harassment and domestic abuse, highlighting the urgent need for stricter implementation of women’s safety laws in the country.
