ABP Live Report – Srishti Goyal

Renowned educator and popular YouTuber Khan Sir has landed himself in controversy over a recent remark.
Known for his engaging teaching style in Patna, Khan Sir enjoys a massive following, with students often treating his words as gospel. However, his recent comments about Maharaja Hari Singh, the last Dogra ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, and his family have sparked outrage.

What exactly did Khan Sir say?

In an interview, Khan Sir stated:

“It was Maharaja Hari Singh’s fault… He wanted to turn Kashmir into Switzerland. His own relatives went to Pakistan, and only then did he surrender on October 26. He was a selfish man. Sardar Patel did not focus on Kashmir as much as he did on other regions.”

These remarks quickly went viral, reaching the Dogra royal family and igniting a storm of criticism.

Dogra royal family’s strong reaction

Kubrani Ritu Singh, a member of the Dogra royal family, called the statement “unfortunate” and said:

“Maharaja Hari Singh dedicated his life to protecting the integrity of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Even today, in distant villages, people deeply respect him. These remarks are not only inaccurate but also disrespectful, even towards women of the family. We continue the work he left unfinished, and such statements are unacceptable.”

Call for legal action

Kubrani Ritu Singh has demanded legal action and a defamation case against Khan Sir:

“Action must be taken, and defamation charges should be filed,” she asserted.
