Devoleena Bhattacharjee Hits Back at Trolls Who Targeted Her Seven-Month-Old Son

Recently, actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee celebrated her son turning seven months old by sharing a few pictures of him on social media. However, the happiness was short-lived as the pictures quickly attracted a wave of negative comments and trolling from some users on the internet.

Some users went as far as to make deeply insensitive and offensive remarks about Devoleena’s son, calling him names like “little terrorist” and making derogatory comments about his complexion. Such comments are something no mother can tolerate.

Demonstrating both courage and conviction, Devoleena decided to respond to the trolls in a way that no one expected. She publicly exposed the profiles of those who spewed hate against her son, sharing their details on her Instagram stories and delivering strong comebacks.

When one user called her son a “little terrorist,” Devoleena posted the user’s profile and wrote, “This is a so-called musician and a dog lover too. May God bless all musicians associated with him, and may the dogs stay safe. People like this don’t allow themselves to be tagged, but show their gutter mentality on others’ posts.”

Another user commented on her son’s skin tone, questioning why she put a mark (tika) on “someone already so dark.” To this, Devoleena retorted by looking at the user’s profile and said, “Look at this person’s profile. Jai Balaji! Maybe someone should ask them what color Lord Balaji is. There is no cure for such a disease—one even Lord Balaji cannot fix.”

Yet another troll said, “Return the child to where it belongs.” Devoleena responded, “An engineer from Delhi, apparently. Only he knows what kind of engineer. Even after spending so much to become an engineer, neither his life nor his thinking has improved. Just look at his miserable condition. If people like this are becoming engineers, imagine where the future is heading.”

Devoleena responded similarly to several other trolls, exposing their profiles and giving them a piece of her mind. She made it clear that personal attacks on her son would not be tolerated and did what any mother would do: defend her child fiercely.
