Shah Rukh Khan Hospitalized After Reported Stroke Amid Severe Ahmedabad Heatwave

Sad news has struck Bollywood fans as superstar Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as King Khan, was rushed to the hospital after reportedly suffering a stroke. The 57-year-old actor is currently hospitalized at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad.

According to Ahmedabad Rural Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat, security has been tightened around the hospital. As news of Shah Rukh Khan’s hospitalization spread, hundreds of fans gathered outside the multispeciality hospital on Sardar Patel Ring Road, prompting police deployment to manage the growing crowds.

Ahmedabad has been experiencing an intense heatwave, recording a maximum temperature of 45.9°C on Wednesday, up from Tuesday’s high of 45.2°C. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has advised residents to stay indoors, remain hydrated, and avoid strenuous outdoor activities during peak heat hours.

This is not the first time this year that Shah Rukh Khan has been hospitalized due to health concerns. Earlier in May, the actor was admitted to the hospital for a heat stroke. When media outlets reached out to the hospital for an update on his current condition, staff declined to share any information about the actor’s health.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen attending a cricket match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with his daughter Suhana Khan and younger son AbRam Khan. As of now, his team has not released an official statement regarding his health status.

SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, was seen arriving at KD Hospital shortly after news of his hospitalization broke online. Meanwhile, the city’s medical facilities are witnessing a surge in patients suffering from heat-related illnesses, with Ahmedabad police reporting a significant increase in emergency calls over the past few days.
