A touching incident at a jewelry store in Sambhaji Nagar has captured the hearts of many on social media. An elderly couple visited a local jewelry shop with a simple wish: the husband wanted to buy a mangalsutra (a traditional necklace symbolizing marriage) for his wife, Shantabai.

At first, the store employees thought the couple had come to ask for money. However, the elderly man placed his entire savings on the counter and explained that he wanted to purchase a mangalsutra for his beloved wife. When the money was counted, it amounted to just ₹1,120—far less than the price of any mangalsutra in the store.

Upon hearing the actual cost, the couple was visibly disappointed. But the store owner, deeply moved by the couple’s love and devotion, decided to do something extraordinary. He offered to gift them the mangalsutra for free. However, the elderly couple insisted on paying whatever they could, determined to contribute their savings.

In the end, the shop owner accepted only ₹20 from them as a symbolic gesture and gave them the mangalsutra, blessing the couple with good wishes.

The video of this heartwarming exchange has since gone viral, with many praising both the couple’s enduring love and the generosity of the store owner.
