Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh to Marry Dr. Amreen Kaur in Chandigarh

Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) Minister and king of the erstwhile Rampur Bushahr princely state, Vikramaditya Singh, is once again making headlines—this time for developments in his personal life. Vikramaditya Singh is set to marry Dr. Amreen Kaur on September 22, 2025, in Chandigarh. This will be his second marriage. Dr. Amreen Kaur is an assistant professor of psychology at Panjab University.

The wedding will take place in Sector 2, Chandigarh, with invitations reportedly already distributed. Vikramaditya Singh is the son of late Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Member of Parliament Pratibha Singh. He is also the heir to the Rampur Bushahr royal legacy.

Previously, Vikramaditya was married to Princess Sudarshana Singh of Mewar, Rajasthan. Their wedding took place on March 8, 2019, but the couple separated and officially divorced last year.

Dr. Amreen Kaur is the daughter of Sardar Jyotinder Singh Sekhon and Sardarni Upinder Kaur of Chandigarh. She is a Harvard University alumna, holding a Ph.D. and double master’s degrees in psychology.

The upcoming marriage is being seen as a symbol of socio-cultural unity between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Preparations for the grand reception in Chandigarh are underway, with the event poised to be one of the most talked-about social gatherings in the region.
