Kangana Ranaut Slams Jaya Bachchan for Outburst in Parliament Over Selfie Incident

Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has lashed out at fellow actress and MP Jaya Bachchan following a heated incident in Parliament that has sparked controversy online.

Reportedly, the altercation began when Jaya Bachchan became visibly angry at a man inside the Parliament premises who tried to take a selfie with her. Unable to contain her frustration, Jaya pushed the man forcefully and reprimanded him in front of onlookers. Her stern gaze reportedly left the man shaken, and he repeatedly apologized for his actions. Many found her behavior unbecoming of a public leader, leading to widespread criticism.

Kangana Ranaut reacted strongly to the incident by sharing a video clip of Jaya Bachchan’s outburst on her Instagram story. Kangana wrote, “The most spoiled and problematic woman. People tolerate her tantrums and nonsense only because she is the wife of Amitabh Bachchan.” She further took a jibe at Jaya’s political affiliation, mocking the Samajwadi Party cap Jaya was wearing and commenting that it looked like a rooster’s comb on her head. Kangana added, “She herself is looking like a rooster. What a shame!”

The incident has since gone viral, drawing sharp reactions from social media users, many of whom expressed both shock and anger at Jaya Bachchan’s actions. While it is not the first time Jaya has exhibited such behavior—having previously done so as an actress—her conduct as a parliamentarian within the nation’s highest legislative body raised particular concerns.
