Nation Mourns as Two Brave Pilots Lost in Jaguar Fighter Jet Crash in Rajasthan

In Rohtak, Haryana, the atmosphere was heavy with grief when Lokendra’s body arrived. The entire city mourned as their beloved son returned home draped in the national flag. His mother, overwhelmed with sorrow, struggled to believe that her son had become immortal in the service of the nation. Despite the pain, there was immense pride in the family’s hearts.

Lokendra’s wife, Dr. Surbhi, attended his last rites with their one-month-old son, whom Lokendra had only seen through a video call before his untimely death. The family, including his elder brother Gyanendra and sister Anshi, bid farewell to the fallen hero with heavy hearts.

Lokendra had joined the Air Force as a pilot and had recently been promoted to Squadron Leader. He became a father just a month before the crash. His family has a long tradition of military service—his grandfather served in the British Army, his sister is a retired Air Force officer, and his brother-in-law is currently a Wing Commander. The family expressed their unwavering pride in the Indian Armed Forces and resolved to send Lokendra’s son to the military when he grows up. They also appealed to the central government to replace outdated aircraft to prevent such tragedies.

The Air Force paid tribute to Lokendra with a gun salute, and his wife received the national flag and his cap, which she touched to her forehead in a moment of deep respect.

As the nation bids farewell to its brave sons, the loss is felt deeply in every heart, but their sacrifice will always be remembered with pride and gratitude.
