Opposition Leader Accuses Election Commission of Voter Fraud and Demands Accountability

In a blistering speech, a prominent opposition leader has accused the Election Commission of orchestrating large-scale voter fraud in recent Indian elections. He alleges that while evidence of malpractice is mounting, the authorities are shielding themselves behind bureaucratic hurdles instead of taking decisive action.

Highlighting that it is the Commission’s responsibility to ensure the integrity of the vote, he said, “The Commission is caught in the act, yet they tell us to bring affidavits. I want to tell the Election Commission that the whole country will now start demanding affidavits from you.”

He further claimed that, just as the Prime Minister announces special packages for Bihar, a new “special package” has emerged—one he labeled as “SIR,” or a new way of orchestrating electoral theft. “This is the new package for Bihar,” he said sarcastically.

He pointed to discrepancies seen in recent Maharashtra elections, where one crore new voters were reportedly added in just four months between the Lok Sabha and State Assembly polls. According to him, wherever a surge in new voters was observed, the ruling BJP’s alliance won.

Following these suspicions, he described how his team investigated a single constituency in Bengaluru Central, Karnataka. By meticulously cross-checking names and photographs, they allegedly identified over 100,000 fake voters in just one assembly seat. Despite presenting their findings to the Election Commission and highlighting five main methods of fraud—including duplicate voters, fake addresses, multiple people at a single address, and blank or forged photos—the leader claims the Commission refused to act and instead demanded an affidavit.

“These fake votes are the Commission’s responsibility. Yet, when caught red-handed, they ask us to bring affidavits,” he repeated, vowing to expose such fraud in assemblies and constituencies all across India.

The leader also took direct aim at the BJP, suggesting that such tactics are being specially employed in Bihar under a new scheme named ‘SIR’, which he decried as “stealing in new ways.” He warned the people of Bihar to be vigilant and resist any attempts at vote-theft.

“Why is there so much theft?” he asked. “Because your jobs, your wealth, your future—everything is being stolen from you. You can’t even dream in today’s Bihar.” He accused the government of giving away infrastructure and opportunities only to favored business interests, while ordinary youth are deprived.

In conclusion, he declared the launch of a “Voter Rights Yatra” across Bihar, rallying thousands to safeguard the sanctity of the vote, stating, “We will show the country every instance of this theft, so the Commission knows that if they try it in Bihar, the people will answer.”

He closed his speech with a warning to the Election Commissioners, asserting that a day will come when a new government will hold them accountable. “This Constitution is the soul of India,” he said. “When they steal votes, they attack the very spirit of the nation.”

The issue of voter fraud remains a subject of heated political debate, with growing calls for transparency and reform in the electoral process.
