Hospitalized During Kapil Sharma Show Shoot, Production Halted

A sudden health crisis struck the set of “The Great Indian Kapil Show” when Parineeti Chopra’s mother-in-law, Raghav Chadha’s mother, fell seriously ill during the shoot. According to a report by Viral Bhayani, the incident occurred just as filming was underway, leading to panic and immediate action on set.

Both Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, were present as guests for the shoot. Raghav’s mother, who was also on set, began feeling unwell after the shooting had commenced. Initial attempts were made to stabilize her, but her condition worsened, prompting the crew to rush her to the hospital without delay.

The atmosphere on the set turned chaotic following the emergency, leading the production team to halt and eventually cancel the shoot altogether. The team has said that a new date for the episode’s shoot featuring Parineeti and Raghav will be decided soon.

Kapil Sharma, often called the ‘King of Comedy’, recently returned with the third season of his popular show on Netflix, now titled “The Great Indian Kapil Show”. The first episode of the new season streamed on June 21, featuring Salman Khan as the guest, followed by star cricketers from the Indian cricket team in the second episode. The show now streams weekly on Netflix.

This appearance was to mark Parineeti Chopra’s first on-screen venture since her wedding. In 2023, Parineeti married Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and India’s youngest Rajya Sabha MP, Raghav Chadha. The couple have remained in the limelight since their wedding, although Parineeti has not appeared in any projects since tying the knot. This episode was to be the first time Parineeti and Raghav were shooting for a show together, and special preparations had been made for the occasion.

With the shoot now postponed due to the health scare, all eyes are on when production will resume and when audiences will get to see the much-anticipated episode.
