Bihar Hospital Horror: 5 men gun down Chandan Mishra in ICU, CCTV captures chilling murder - The Economic Times

On July 17th, five armed men boldly entered Paras Hospital and made their way to the second floor. There, in room 209, they gunned down notorious criminal Chandan Mishra before making a calm and calculated escape. Initial suspicions had pointed towards Sheru Singh, Mishra’s former associate turned rival, as the mastermind behind the hit. However, CCTV footage later revealed the leading figure was Tausif of Phulwari Sharif, Patna—who is reportedly known for calling himself “Badshah”.

Footage from the scene shows Tausif at the forefront, wearing a printed shirt and blue jeans, openly loading his pistol and walking confidently ahead of the group. While the other four shooters attempted to conceal their identities with caps, Tausif made no attempt to hide his face—even after the assassination as he calmly walked out of the hospital.

Police say all five suspects have now been identified, and arrests are imminent. The authorities believe Tausif accepted a contract to kill Chandan Mishra, but questions remain as to who issued the contract. Was it Sheru, the old friend and now sworn enemy of Mishra, or someone else with a long-standing grudge?

These answers are expected to come to light once Tausif, the ringleader, is apprehended. The investigation is ongoing as the police close in on those responsible, aiming to bring justice in one of Patna’s most sensational crime cases.
