Principal of Government School in Suratgarh Beaten by Locals After Being Caught in Car with Woman

Suratgarh, Sri Ganganagar: In a shocking incident, the principal of a government school in Suratgarh was beaten by a crowd after being caught in a compromising situation inside a car. The incident came to light when the principal’s wife caught him red-handed in the car along with a female companion and a friend.

According to sources, the principal’s wife was out with her younger son on a scooter to buy food when she noticed her husband’s car parked at Indira Circle on the night of July 9. Upon approaching the vehicle, she discovered her husband inside with another woman and his friend. The situation quickly escalated as a crowd gathered at the spot, leading to a heated altercation and the principal being physically assaulted.

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. The Suratgarh police station in-charge, Dinesh Saran, stated that the matter appears to be a family dispute. The accused, Jasveer Singh Thukrana, serves as the principal of a village school in Suratgarh. It has been reported that he and his wife had been experiencing marital issues for some time.

On July 9, the wife filed a complaint after witnessing the incident. Along with Jasveer Singh, his friend Naresh Riwana—an Additional Chief Education Block Officer—was also present in the car. The woman found in the car is considered a victim in the case.

Police have begun investigating the matter and, with the help of locals, have detained principal Jasveer Singh, his friend, and others involved. The investigation is ongoing.
