Shocking Incident in Pune: Family Takes Law into Their Own Hands Over Love Marriage

Disturbing visuals have emerged from Pune, Maharashtra, highlighting yet another case of vigilante justice in the name of family honor. The incident occurred in Kharpudi village, located in the Khed taluka, where a couple, Vishwanath and Prajakta, had built a small world of their own after a love marriage.

On Sunday evening, in a shocking turn of events, around 15 relatives, including Prajakta’s brother, mother, and other family members, barged into their home. Vishwanath was brutally beaten, and despite Prajakta’s screams and protests, she was forcibly taken away by her family.

Following this harrowing incident, the distraught husband filed a complaint at the Khed Police Station. Authorities have registered cases of abduction, assault, and rioting against all 15 accused, including Prajakta’s brother and mother. Police teams are actively searching for the accused and attempting to trace Prajakta’s whereabouts.
