Arjun Tendulkar Gets Engaged to Sania Chandok, Granddaughter of Business Tycoon Ravi Ghai
Mumbai, India – Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has officially got engaged to Sania Chandok, the granddaughter of well-known businessman Ravi Ghai. The engagement ceremony was an intimate affair attended by close family members and friends from both sides.
Arjun and Sania have known each other since childhood, but their relationship stayed out of the limelight. Although the two were occasionally spotted together, few suspected that Arjun would choose Sania as his life partner.

So, who is Sania Chandok, the soon-to-be daughter-in-law of Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar? Sania hails from an influential business family in Mumbai. Her grandfather, Ravi Ghai, owns the five-star Intercontinental Hotel as well as Brooklyn Creamery, known for its health-friendly ice creams and frozen desserts. The Ghai family also runs Greaves Good Foods. Sania herself is the founder of the luxury pet spa brand Sparkle, and she has carved her own path despite being from a wealthy background. A graduate of the London School of Economics, Sania also runs a premium pet salon and store in Mumbai called Mr. Paws. She keeps her social media private, indicating her preference for a low-key personal life.
As soon as the news of Arjun and Sania’s engagement broke on social media, fans and well-wishers flooded both families with congratulatory messages. The engagement marks not only the union of two young individuals but also ties together two powerful families from Mumbai. Despite being a private event, the engagement ceremony was glamorous, attended exclusively by close friends and relatives.

The combination of Sania’s business acumen and Arjun’s dedication to cricket marks them as a new “power couple.” While Arjun has not yet reached the towering heights of his father Sachin Tendulkar’s cricket career, he is a promising left-arm fast bowler who started playing at a young age. Currently, Arjun plays domestic cricket for Goa and has a contract with Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has earned significant income. His net worth is reportedly around ₹22 crore, with most of his earnings coming from IPL. He lives with his parents in a lavish Mumbai residence and also has access to the family’s luxury London property.
Arjun Tendulkar’s IPL journey began when Mumbai Indians bought him in 2021 at his base price, and again in 2022 for ₹30 lakh. Over the last five years, Arjun has earned roughly ₹1.4 crore from the league.
