Tragic Tale in Lucknow: Seven-Year-Old Girl’s M*rder Reveals Disturbing Family Conspiracy

A deeply disturbing incident from Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, has shocked the entire nation. The case revolves around the tragic story of a seven-year-old girl whose murder uncovered a horrific family conspiracy and abuse, making headlines not only in Lucknow but throughout the country.

The incident came to light when a video made by the young girl went viral on social media. In the video, she tearfully alleged that her “uncle” was abusing her and, when she reported this to her grandmother and aunt, they beat her instead of believing her. Frustrated and desperate, the child posted the video online, which quickly drew public outrage, and eventually the attention of the police.

The police acted swiftly after seeing the viral video. They visited the family’s residence, arrested the accused “uncle”, grandmother, and aunt, and sent all three to jail. The police received praise for their prompt action, and the young girl was lauded for her extraordinary bravery in seeking justice for herself.

Several months passed with the relatives in jail, but the case took a horrifying turn when the girl herself was found murdered in a most gruesome manner. Her body was discovered in such a state that insects had begun infesting it, shocking the local community, the authorities, and the country at large.

The murder was reported to the police from an apartment in the Khandsari Bazaar area of Keserbagh, Lucknow, on the night of July 14-15, 2025, at around 3:10 a.m. When law enforcement arrived, they found the lifeless body of the seven-year-old. Initial reports suggested that her father harbored animosity towards her and had killed her before fleeing. The child’s devastated mother confirmed this narrative, weeping uncontrollably and demanding justice for her daughter.

However, inconsistencies in the account and the autopsy findings led police to suspect more than met the eye. The postmortem report showed that the girl had been dead for 36 to 48 hours before the police were notified, with severe decomposition already setting in—contradicting the timeline provided by her mother.

When pressed, the mother, named Roshni, eventually revealed the shocking truth along with her lover, Udit Jaiswal. The investigation disclosed that on July 13th, while Roshni and Udit were engaged in an intimate act, the seven-year-old unexpectedly witnessed them. The frightened child threatened to tell her father everything she saw. In a fit of rage and desperation, Roshni began beating her daughter. The little girl fell to the ground, and Roshni, in a moment of madness, suffocated her to death with Udit’s help.

To conceal their crime, they wrapped the girl’s body and hid it inside the bed, even hosting a party at their home with the corpse hidden beneath the guests’ feet. Later, they tried to mask the smell by pouring perfume over the hiding place and running the air conditioner at full speed, but decomposition soon set in, and an unbearable odor filled the house.

Fearing exposure, Roshni and Udit concocted a plan to frame her husband, Shahrukh, for the murder. They contacted the police and spun a false story, but police investigations and inconsistencies in their accounts soon led to their arrest.

Further probing revealed that earlier, Roshni had manipulated her daughter into recording a false video accusing other relatives, intending to get them jailed so she could live openly with her lover. In police custody, the pair confessed to the murder and the disturbing conspiracy that led up to it.

It was also revealed that Udit, who had suffered personal tragedies in his own family, had met Roshni at a dance bar, which became the starting point of this deadly partnership.

The incident has served as a chilling reminder of the depths of human depravity, the dangers children face—even from those closest to them—and the need for society to be vigilant against child abuse and domestic violence.
