Tragedy in Bihar Village: Two Siblings D*e Mysteriously After Eating Mangoes, Milk, and Roti

A heart-wrenching incident has shaken the residents of Kariyat Ward No. 12 in Golma police station area, Bihar, where two children from the same family—one boy and one girl—died suddenly after a family dinner. The tragedy has left the village in shock and the family in deep mourning.

According to the family, on the night of the incident, all members—including the children and parents—ate a meal together, which included mangoes, milk, and roti. After dinner, everyone went to sleep as usual. However, early the next morning, around 5:30 AM, two of the children—one daughter and the only son of the family—fell seriously ill. Despite efforts to get medical help, both children died on the spot.

The devastated mother is unable to speak due to the shock, and the entire family is struggling to come to terms with the loss. The grandfather, Balram Paswan, shared that the children had shown no signs of illness before, and the family is baffled as to how such a tragedy could occur after a regular meal. He also confirmed that all family members, including himself, ate the same food but only the two children were affected.

The family did not have a postmortem conducted, which has raised further questions about the cause of death. When asked why, the relatives said they were not advised to do so, but some now regret not investigating further to determine the exact cause.

The two surviving sisters, Anshu Kumari and Sapna Kumari, recalled that the meal tasted normal and that everyone ate together. There was no suspicion of adulteration or poisoning in the food, as none of the other family members fell ill.

The children’s maternal grandfather, Satyanarayan Paswan, also expressed his confusion and grief, stating that there was no prior illness or ongoing treatment for either child. He does not suspect any foul play, but the mysterious circumstances have left the entire family and community searching for answers.

Neighbors and relatives have gathered at the family’s home to offer support, but the mood is somber. The mother continues to grieve inconsolably for her only son and daughter, while the grandmother, Uma Devi, shared her sorrow over losing her only grandson.

This tragic event has raised many questions in the village. Never before have residents heard of such deaths resulting from eating common foods like mangoes, milk, and roti. The incident remains a mystery, as there is no clear explanation for why only two children were affected while the rest of the family remains healthy.

As the family mourns, the community is left wondering: Could this have been prevented? Was there something wrong with the food, or was it a tragic coincidence? The lack of a postmortem means these questions may never be answered.

For now, the family and the entire village are united in grief, hoping that such a tragedy never happens again.
