Caught on CCTV: The Crime

It was a quiet afternoon, and CCTV cameras captured a girl walking along a deserted street, her school bag slung over her shoulder. Suddenly, a man on a Splender motorcycle appeared from the other end of the lane. As he approached, he brazenly molested the girl in a “disgusting” manner before speeding away. The stunned girl could do nothing but watch as the perpetrator vanished from sight.

Police Crack Down Hard

The incident quickly caught the attention of Bareilly police, especially under Chief Superintendent’s ongoing campaign against crime and criminals. Acting on a tip-off, the Izzat Nagar police team learned that Musabbir, son of Rais and a resident of Kamal Nayanpur, was planning to flee the city.

Police set up a blockade after receiving information that Musabbir would be passing through Kashmiri Kothi. As soon as he was spotted on his motorcycle, officers signaled him to stop. Instead of surrendering, Musabbir opened fire at the police and tried to escape.

Encounter Ends in Injury

The police responded with tactical counter-fire, hitting Musabbir in the leg. The accused, now unable to walk without support, was immediately sent to the district hospital for treatment. CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts confirm the sequence of events.

Criminal Past Exposed

Upon arrest, police recovered a .315 bore country-made pistol, one spent cartridge, two live cartridges, and the Splender motorcycle used in the crime. Musabbir, it turns out, already had a criminal background.

Justice Delivered

After the encounter, Musabbir was seen limping, supported by two police officers, his face pale with fear and regret. According to reports, he even begged the police for mercy after being shot. The authorities have assured that strict legal action will follow.

A Message to Criminals

This incident sends a strong message: “If you harass girls, Yogi’s police will not spare you.” The swift action has brought some relief to the victim and her family, and serves as a stern warning to those who think they can get away with such crimes.
