The Whole Escape Caught on Video

The viral video reveals how the accused, Anup Shukla, was standing with a suitcase next to a biker when the local police outpost in-charge and a constable arrived on their motorcycle. As Shukla greeted the officers, the outpost in-charge subtly warned him about an impending police raid. Acting immediately, Shukla picked up his suitcase and fled the scene—right in front of the police duo.

Moments later, the outpost in-charge was seen leaving the spot with a smile, while a separate police team, dispatched to arrest Shukla, arrived only seconds after his escape. In a further display of deception, the same officers who had just aided the accused returned and pretended to search for him along with the new team.

Suspicion and Swift Action

The suspicious behavior of the sub-inspector and constable did not go unnoticed. Based on the video evidence and their actions, both officers were immediately suspended. An official FIR has been registered, and further investigation has been ordered by the station in-charge and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Colonelganj.

Police Accountability Under Question

This incident has raised serious questions about police accountability and corruption within the force. The fact that the entire episode was caught on camera has only added to the public’s demand for transparency and strict action against those involved.

Authorities Respond

Authorities have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted, and strict measures will be taken to prevent such breaches of trust in the future. The swift suspension of the involved officers is being seen as a positive step toward restoring public faith.
