Student Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident Involving Actress Kashyap

According to The Times of India, a tragic hit-and-run incident occurred at around 3 a.m. in the Dakhingaon area. The incident involved a Bolero SUV, allegedly driven by actress Kashyap, which struck a student named Samiul Haque as he was returning home.

CCTV footage has captured the exact moment of the crash. Eyewitnesses reported that Kashyap did not stop after the accident and quickly fled the scene. Samiul was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted.

Samiul’s family told The Times of India that he had suffered severe head injuries and multiple fractures in his legs, arms, and thighs. They also claimed that Kashyap had promised to pay for the student’s treatment but failed to keep her word.

In response to the incident, Samiul’s friends decided to take matters into their own hands. They reportedly tracked the SUV to an apartment complex in Kahilipara and confronted Kashyap, known for her role in the series “Rudra,” before contacting the police.

Authorities later seized the vehicle and questioned Kashyap about the incident. Although she denied any involvement, she was taken into custody around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday and transported to the Panbazar Women Police Station. Prior to her arrest, police impounded Kashyap’s car and continued their investigation into her role in the accident.
