When it comes to Indian political couples, few are as admired as Akhilesh Yadav and his wife, Dimple Yadav. After finishing their business on the second floor, the couple entered the VVIP elevator to return to the ground floor.

As the doors closed and the lift began its descent, it suddenly jolted to a stop. Initially, Akhilesh and Dimple thought it was a minor electrical glitch.
