YouTuber Armaan Malik and His Four Wives Summoned by Court Over Multiple Controversies
Controversy seems to follow Armaan Malik wherever he goes, and now the self-styled “controversy king” is in serious legal trouble. One of India’s most polarizing YouTubers, Armaan Malik, along with his four wives, has been served a court notice and summoned to appear in court.
Armaan Malik is known not just for his sensational YouTube presence, but also for his unconventional family life. Currently residing with two of his wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik, he has often drawn widespread attention and criticism for his lifestyle—primarily the fact that he maintains relationships with multiple wives at the same time. This has been a major reason for both his online popularity and the never-ending stream of controversies involving his family.
Recently, the Patiala court issued notices to Armaan Malik and his wives Payal and Kritika over three separate legal cases:
-
Religious Insensitivity: The controversy snowballed recently when Payal Malik posted a video on social media dressed as Goddess Kali for her daughter Tuba. The video sparked outrage, compelling Payal to issue a public apology and subsequently face legal consequences.
Obscene Content on Social Media: The second case pertains to the spreading of allegedly obscene content on social media platforms via Armaan Malik and his wives’ online channels. Their videos and posts have often come under scrutiny for pushing the boundaries of decency.
Multiple Marriages: Perhaps the most serious charge against Armaan Malik is regarding his four marriages. Senior advocate Davinder Rajput has filed a case arguing that Armaan’s multiple marriages violate the Hindu Marriage Act, which prohibits having more than one spouse at a time. If proved, this is a punishable offense under Indian law.
The accumulation of these cases prompted the Patiala court to summon Armaan Malik and all four wives to appear on September 2. With allegations of religious disrespect, obscene digital content, and bigamy, things have reached a critical point for this controversial influencer family.
Armaan’s lifestyle and actions have continuously fueled debates across social media and mainstream news. While his bold content and non-traditional family have ensured him Internet fame, they have also drawn the ire of both the law and the public. Many are now closely watching to see what legal action will be taken and whether this marks a turning point in how social media influencers are treated under the law.
As the case unfolds, one thing is clear: Armaan Malik’s run as India’s most controversial YouTuber is far from over, with the legal storm now intensifying around him and his family.
