Bhiwani’s Singhani Village Shaken as Police Intensify Probe in Teacher Manisha’s Murder Case
The peaceful village of Singhani in Haryana’s Bhiwani district has been rocked by the shocking murder of local teacher Manisha. With mounting public pressure and the administration’s credibility at stake, police and authorities have mobilized all available resources to crack the case as quickly as possible.
Forensics and Dog Squad Join the Investigation
On Sunday, the crime scene witnessed intense activity. A dog squad and a special “scene of crime” forensic team, led by Deputy Director Dr. Ajay Kumar, combed through the area, marking significant spots and collecting potential evidence. The specially trained dogs conducted thorough searches of the surroundings, even gathering samples from various locations in hopes of finding new clues. Meanwhile, the team meticulously inspected not only the site where Manisha’s body was found but also the nearby canal and surrounding fields, seeking any small shred of evidence that could help solve the case.
Wider Investigation and Multiple Angles
Police sources have revealed that the investigation is expanding, with authorities questioning several local residents. Among those brought in for questioning are a seed shop owner and the owner of a local play school. However, despite these efforts, no concrete breakthrough or suspects have been confirmed. The police are keeping all leads open, investigating the murder from multiple possible angles.
For now, officials have refrained from sharing details with either media or locals, maintaining a tight seal on the investigation to prevent misinformation or tampering with evidence. The village area where Manisha’s body was recovered has been declared a strict “No Entry Zone,” cordoned off with ribbons as officers preserve the integrity of the crime scene.
Authorities Face Public Pressure
Just days into his new role, Bhiwani’s Superintendent of Police, Sumit Kumar, addressed the protest committee demanding justice, asking for 72 hours to nab the culprits. Twenty-four hours have already passed, with the public closely watching every move of the investigation. Though officials maintain they are working diligently, villagers and Manisha’s family are impatient for clear answers and justice.
Intense Search for Evidence
Forensic and police teams spent three to four hours on Sunday scouring the area for clues. So far, it’s unclear if any tangible evidence has emerged—but the silence from the authorities suggests they’re making progress but prefer not to jeopardize the investigation.
Until the case is solved, and the true sequence of events is established, police have completely sealed off the crime scene. No unauthorized entry is permitted in the area until the truth is revealed and justice for Manisha is within reach
