Sunny, a mother of three, adopted her daughter Nisha from an orphanage in 2017 before welcoming twin sons through surrogacy. The actress revealed that the agent involved in the surrogacy process took so much money from her that the surrogate mother was able to buy a house and even celebrate her wedding lavishly with the funds.

Sunny explained, “I wanted to adopt a child. The day we applied for adoption, we also did IVF and got our daughter. That moment was special for both me and my husband Daniel.” When asked by Soha if she chose surrogacy because she didn’t want to get pregnant herself, Sunny replied, “Yes, it was my personal decision. I didn’t want to go through pregnancy.”

Sunny further disclosed that she paid the surrogate mother a weekly fee, not just to her but also to her family, ensuring that her unborn twins would be safe and healthy. She even paid for the surrogate’s weekly off days. The payments were so substantial that the surrogate mother bought a house and secured her family’s future.

“We gave her so much money for surrogacy that she bought a house and had a grand wedding. She can keep her family safe for life with that money. We’re happy that our children’s birth improved someone else’s life too,” Sunny shared.

However, Sunny did not reveal the exact amount paid for the surrogacy. Reports suggest that the surrogacy was conducted in India, where it was legal at the time. India has seen many scams in the surrogacy industry, with agents exploiting foreigners and locals alike.
