Shocking Fraud in Muzaffarnagar: Fake Policeman with 20 Girlfriends and a 23-Year Age Gap in Marriage Arrested!
In a startling revelation from Muzaffarnagar, police have arrested a conman who impersonated a policeman, ensnaring 20 women in his web of deceit over three years. The accused, 32-year-old Naushad, only completed the 10th grade and hails from the town of Charthawal.

Naushad, a cunning criminal, frequently changed his identity, sometimes calling himself Abdul and other times Rahul. He specifically targeted vulnerable women—widows or those living separately from their husbands—by posing as a constable. Shockingly, he had physical relationships with at least 10 of these women.
Using a police uniform that he obtained from a friend, Naushad crafted a façade of authority, manipulating women’s trust to exploit them. He would change his name and religion to suit the demographics of his targets; he introduced himself as Naushad or Abdul to Muslim women and as Rahul to Hindu women. His deceitful antics spanned across four states, including Assam, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Mathura, and Muzaffarnagar, always preying on similar profiles of lonely women.
Naushad’s fraudulent activities began when he donned the police uniform left behind by a friend. This marked the start of his elaborate scheme to pose as a constable and exploit women. He would reach out to women through social media, build rapport through lengthy conversations, and then lure them into meeting him under false pretenses.
The facade began to unravel when one woman filed a complaint at the Nagar Kotwali police station. Recognizing the serious nature of the allegations, SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma assigned the investigation to CO City Raju Kumar Sah. Based on the investigation, Naushad was arrested, and police recovered the constable’s uniform from him.
It was revealed that Naushad had been married twice, with his first wife being 23 years older than him, living in Charthawal, while his second wife resided in Civil Lines. His relationships seemed to be nothing more than a cover for his manipulative schemes.
The police have urged the public to exercise caution and not blindly trust anyone in uniform, emphasizing that a uniform does not always guarantee honesty. It is crucial to verify identity through official departmental IDs.
This incident serves not only as a tale of crime but also as a warning that vigilance is essential before placing trust in anyone. What are your thoughts on this shocking case? Let us know in the comments!
