A sensational case of love and betrayal has emerged from Jamui district in Bihar, shaking the very foundations of relationships, promises, and societal norms. In a shocking twist, a woman who once vowed to spend seven lifetimes with her husband left both him and their young daughter to marry her nephew, with whom she had fallen in love.

The incident took place in a village under the jurisdiction of Town police station. Eight years ago, Ayushi married Vishal, and the couple had a daughter together. Outwardly, their relationship appeared stable. However, two years ago, Sachin, a distant nephew of Vishal, entered Ayushi’s life. Their friendship gradually deepened, eventually blossoming into an affair.

Ayushi became determined to start a new life with Sachin, her nephew by relation. In her own words, Ayushi explained that love can happen at any time and that her attachment to Sachin grew over phone conversations and frequent interactions at home. When asked about her relationship with Sachin, she candidly stated that he became more of a husband to her than her actual husband.

Ayushi eventually divorced Vishal, leaving behind her husband and their one-year-old daughter. Vishal had previously filed a complaint at the women’s police station, and attempts were made to reconcile the couple. However, the situation only escalated, resulting in frequent quarrels between Sachin, the lover-nephew, and Vishal.

Six days ago, Ayushi decided to leave everything behind and elope with Sachin. Vishal filed a kidnapping case, alleging that Sachin had taken Ayushi away at gunpoint. The police intervened, and both Ayushi and Sachin surrendered in court. Ayushi declared in her court statement that she wanted to live with Sachin of her own free will. Their daughter remained in Vishal’s custody.

After leaving court, Ayushi and Sachin got married at a local Shiva temple. Sachin expressed his happiness and recalled how their friendship turned into love. Despite strong opposition from villagers, the couple is now reportedly living in hiding in the city.

Police station in-charge Amarendra Kumar confirmed that a complaint was received and further legal action will be taken according to the law.

This case has sparked debate about the fragility of trust in relationships and the impact of personal choices on family, especially the fate of the young daughter left behind by her mother’s decision.
