Katrina Kaif’s Father-In-Law Sham Kaushal Wanted To Jump From 3rd Floor

Shyam Kaushal, Katrina Kaif’s father-in-law and Vicky Kaushal’s father, recently revealed a shocking incident from his past. In a latest interview, Shyam shared a heart-wrenching chapter from his life when he was diagnosed with cancer and was told by doctors that his chances of survival were slim.

Shyam recounted how he was shooting for the film Lakshya in Ladakh when he suddenly fell ill and was hospitalized. After a series of tests, doctors discovered that he had an infection in his stomach and had to undergo surgery. When Shyam regained consciousness, he was shocked to see that his stomach had been cut open in multiple places.

The doctors then revealed to him that they suspected he might have cancer, and the test results confirmed their fears. Shyam was devastated by the news and felt that he couldn’t live with the disease. He decided to take matters into his own hands and planned to jump out of the hospital window that night.

However, due to his weakened state, Shyam was unable to get out of bed. He then had a conversation with God, asking him to take his life rather than leaving him in a weakened state. Shyam believed that he had been given a second chance at life and that God had granted him 10 more years to live.

Shyam spent 50 days in the hospital and eventually made a full recovery. He credits his survival to his faith in God and believes that he has been living on borrowed time for the past 22 years.

Shyam’s journey in the film industry has been nothing short of remarkable. He began his career as a stuntman in the 1980s and went on to become an action director in the Malayalam film Indrajalam in 1990. Despite facing numerous challenges, Shyam persevered and went on to work on several blockbuster films, including Gangs of Wasseypur, Bajirao Mastani, Dangal, and Padmaavat.

Throughout his career, Shyam has won numerous awards, including five Filmfare Awards for Best Action. He is the only action director to have achieved this feat. Shyam’s success has been attributed to his hard work and dedication to his craft.

Shyam’s story has left many in the film industry and beyond in awe of his resilience and determination. His journey serves as a testament to the power of faith and the human spirit.
