Oh God, please save Tanushree Dutta! Tanushree Dutta Asking Help Cries Inconsolably In Shocking V…
In a world where celebrities are often idolized and their lives envied, few pause to consider the shadows behind the spotlight. One such story of silence, pain, and persistent torment comes from none other than Tanushree Dutta—a former Miss India and actress who once lit up the silver screen with her confidence and grace. Today, her story is not of glamour, but of a woman desperately crying out for help, from within the four walls of her own home.
Recently, Tanushree shared a deeply disturbing video on her Instagram account that sent shockwaves through her followers and the public alike. In the video, her voice trembled with fear as she pleaded, “Someone help me.” Her face was soaked with tears, her eyes filled with terror, and her physical exhaustion was unmistakable. She was no longer the radiant star the world once knew—she was a woman under siege.
According to her statement, Tanushree called the police out of desperation, saying she was being harassed inside her own home. Despite her fragile health, she was told to visit the police station to file a complaint, something she admitted she might only be able to do a day or two later due to her worsening condition. “My health is so poor that I can’t function normally anymore,” she said.
For years now—specifically since 2018, she claims—Tanushree has been living a life plagued with mental harassment, isolation, and psychological trauma. Her health has declined severely, with the actress revealing she suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, a debilitating condition worsened by stress and anxiety. “I can’t do any work,” she said. “My house is a mess, and my mental condition is so fragile that I can’t even live normally.”
In her video, she elaborated on the strange happenings inside her home. Over the last several years, she has gone through numerous house helps, each one reportedly creating trouble—stealing, tampering with food, and even attempting to intimidate her. Eventually, she says, she stopped trusting anyone and began doing all the household chores herself—cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, and even cautiously checking every single sound outside her door.
“Someone is harassing me in my own house,” she stated again in the video, her voice low but filled with a deep, tired pain. For many viewers, this was not just a video—it was a scream muffled for years, finally escaping her chest.
Along with this video, Tanushree also posted another clip capturing strange, loud, unsettling sounds—resembling explosions—coming from inside or just outside her apartment. She claimed such noises had been a recurring issue since 2020. Whether day or night, she said, she had no peace. Despite repeated complaints to her building’s management, no action was taken. Eventually, she stopped hoping for help and tried to adapt by using headphones and playing Hindu chants all day just to keep her mind from breaking.
Still, none of it helped. “Today, I am extremely ill,” she admitted. “Every day feels like a battle. My body is giving up.”
The most heartbreaking part was her realization: just a day after she posted something online, all of this harassment intensified. It’s as though someone is watching, waiting, ready to strike whenever she tries to speak out.
For those unfamiliar, Tanushree Dutta was the woman who, in 2018, triggered India’s #MeToo movement by publicly accusing veteran actor Nana Patekar of inappropriate behavior on the sets of the film Horn Ok Pleassss. According to her, in 2008, during the shooting, she was forcibly touched and pressured to perform a dance scene she was uncomfortable with. Despite raising concerns back then, her pleas were dismissed, and instead of justice, she faced backlash, bullying, and near exile from the film industry.
When she revived her allegations in 2018, the country took notice. The #MeToo wave hit Bollywood hard, exposing several powerful names. Tanushree’s boldness inspired countless other women to speak out. However, by 2019, her complaint against Nana Patekar was closed due to “lack of evidence,” and he was given a clean chit. Her hopes were crushed, and she left for the United States, hoping to start afresh.
But peace eluded her even there. In her own words, strange things began happening in the U.S. too, though she tried to brush them aside. However, when she returned to India in 2020, things took a darker turn. Unknown individuals began lurking near her house. “Some people would park cars outside my building at 2 or 3 in the morning,” she said. Often, she felt as if someone was following her or silently watching from nearby.
Despite informing the police multiple times, she claims no serious action was taken. Instead, attempts were made to label her mentally unstable. “Whenever I step out, people stare at me. Some silently follow. But when I talk about it, they say it’s all in my head.”
The emotional toll of all this has been devastating. Along with her chronic illness, Tanushree reported frequent dizziness, difficulty walking, breathlessness, and a constant state of exhaustion. “I feel like someone has drained all my energy—like my blood has been sucked out,” she said.
Adding to the terror are incidents of tampering with her medicine, suspicious activities by housemaids, unexplained flickering of lights, and other abnormalities inside her apartment. She suspects a larger conspiracy aimed at destabilizing her—psychologically and physically.
“By 2023, I was completely alone,” she confessed. No friends, no visitors, no film offers. Every time she tried to speak out—whether via interviews or social media posts—she was ridiculed, ignored, or silenced. Some of her posts were even mysteriously deleted or flooded with negative comments.
But now, after years of silence and coping, Tanushree has drawn the line.
In her latest video, she said with conviction, “I will not stay silent. I will file an FIR. Even if I have to crawl to the police station, I will do it.” She also urged the media to not abandon her this time—to amplify her voice before it’s too late. “Because if I break this time, I will never be able to rise again.”
Her courage reignited a fire on social media. While many lauded her bravery and expressed concern, a troubling section of the audience continued to question her motives, calling it a “publicity stunt” or a ploy for attention due to lack of work.
But the real question isn’t why she is speaking out—it’s why no one is listening. If a woman claims she feels unsafe in her own home, do we wait until tragedy strikes before taking her seriously?
The police have reportedly stated that they will look into her complaints, but no concrete action has been seen so far. While a few media outlets have picked up the story, the Bollywood industry, once again, remains eerily silent. No celebrity voices, no producers, no open support.
And that silence, perhaps, is the most deafening of all. Because it’s the same silence that could someday be blamed if something irreparable were to happen.
For now, Tanushree Dutta stands alone, but not broken. There is exhaustion in her eyes, but also determination. “There is a fire in me now,” she said. “Even if no one listens, I will scream until the walls shake.”
Her story is not just about her. It’s about every voice that gets buried under labels, every woman who is told she’s imagining things, every cry for help that goes unheard.
Is there truly a force trying to silence her? Is there a darker underbelly to Bollywood that still operates from the shadows? Only time will tell.
Until then, the least we can do is listen. Not judge. Not mock. Just listen.
And believe.
