Lokendra Singh Arrested in Raja Raghuvanshi Murder Case, Denies All Allegations

In a major breakthrough in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, Lokendra Singh, who allegedly sheltered the main accused Sonam after the crime, has been arrested and presented before the district court by the Gwalior police. Lokendra, who owns the flat in Indore where Sonam stayed for several days following the murder, has come forward with several revelations in front of the media, shedding new light on the case.

Lokendra Singh, now in police custody, claimed that he only knew Sonam as a tenant and had rented out his flat to her. He denied any involvement in the murder, stating, “I am the owner of the house. I had given the building on rent. Apart from this, I have no other involvement. Whatever allegations are there will come out, and I will address them in a press conference. You all are invited, and I will answer everything.”

When questioned about his arrest, Lokendra insisted he was not aware of any charges and had not been arrested previously. However, the Gwalior police confirmed that Lokendra would be handed over to the Shillong police for further interrogation, as the main investigation is being conducted there.

The Superintendent of Police, Gwalior, explained, “We received information about the accused’s location in Gwalior. Our crime team acted promptly and detained him last night. He will undergo a medical examination, after which we will apply for transit remand in the district court. Only then will he be taken to Shillong for further questioning.”

So far, eight people have been arrested in connection with the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. Evidence indicates that Sonam stayed at Lokendra Singh Tomar’s flat in Indore for several days after the murder. With mounting evidence, the Shillong police are now seeking Lokendra’s remand to probe his role further.

Lokendra maintains his innocence and has dismissed all allegations against him, promising to soon present proof of his innocence to the public. Meanwhile, critical questions remain unanswered: Did Sonam kill Raja solely for her alleged lover Raj, or was there a deeper motive behind the crime? The Shillong police are expected to unravel these mysteries in the coming days.
