Collector Neha Me’s Car Hit by Speeding Dumper in Jhabua, Narrow Escape for the Officer

Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh: A major accident took place in Jhabua when the official vehicle of District Collector Neha Me was hit by a speeding dumper truck. The incident occurred just as Collector Neha Me was leaving her residence. Eyewitnesses say the collision was so intense that her car was pushed onto the road divider.

As news of the accident spread, there was immediate panic in the district administration. Officials rushed to the spot without delay. Fortunately, Collector Neha Me escaped with minor injuries and did not suffer any serious harm.

The police responded quickly, seizing the dumper and detaining the driver for questioning. They have begun an investigation into the matter. Given that the incident involves a high-ranking official, police are probing whether the accident was a result of negligence or if there could be any conspiracy behind it.

Neha Me, a 2014-batch IAS officer from Rajasthan, is well-known for her innovative initiatives. She has received national recognition, being honored twice by the President of India. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also acknowledged her outstanding work in holistic development, the Aspirational Block Programme, and other innovations, ranking her among the top five officers in the country to receive this distinction.
