In a spine-chilling case that has sent shockwaves across Uttar Pradesh, a horrifying video from Ghaziabad has gone viral—showing a young, well-educated daughter-in-law, allegedly an engineer by profession, mercilessly torturing her elderly mother-in-law inside their own home.

The disturbing footage, believed to be from the city’s Vasundhara Sector 15, shows what many are calling “unimaginable cruelty”: the elderly woman, visibly frail and crying, being dragged, slapped, and verbally abused by her own daughter-in-law while a child—reportedly the victim’s grandson—watches helplessly from the background.

“This isn’t a domestic dispute. This is pure evil,” said one neighbor, who requested anonymity. “We’ve heard shouting before, but we never imagined this.”

According to police sources, the accused woman—identified as Neha Sharma (name changed)—is a B.Tech graduate working remotely for an IT firm. The victim, 70-year-old Saroj Devi, had been living with her son and daughter-in-law for the past eight years.
