Shooter Behind Elvish Yadav House Firing Arrested After Police Encounter in Faridabad”

A dramatic development has unfolded in the case of the recent firing at the home of popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav. The shooter responsible for the attack has been arrested by police following an encounter in Faridabad.

The accused, identified as Ishant alias Ishu Gandhi, was one of two men who fired dozens of bullets at Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram residence last week. During a police operation in Faridabad, Ishant opened fire with an automatic pistol at the crime branch team, shooting more than half a dozen rounds. In response, police shot him in the leg, arrested him, and took him to the hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that Ishant is a resident of Jawahar Colony, Faridabad.

The shooting incident occurred on August 17, when three masked men arrived on a bike at Yadav’s Sector 56 home around 5:30 AM and fired at least 25 shots. Elvish Yadav was not present at the time, as he was out of Haryana for work. Although the caretaker and some family members were inside, no one was injured.

CCTV footage shows the three men arriving on a bike; two of them opened fire at the house, paused briefly, continued shooting, and then fled the scene. Hours after the attack, the notorious Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility in a social media post, accusing Elvish Yadav of promoting gambling. The gang’s leader, Himanshu Bhau, is reportedly a fugitive gangster based in Portugal. The post threatened other social media influencers, warning that anyone found promoting gambling could be targeted.

The authenticity of the gang’s social media claim has not been verified by authorities.

Following the incident, Elvish Yadav reassured his fans via Instagram, confirming that he and his family are safe. He expressed gratitude for the support and concern shown by his followers.

Police investigations are ongoing, and further updates are expected as the case develops.
