Disaster Strikes: Kareena Kapoor Khan Rushed to Hospital After Saif Ali Khan’s ₹15,000 Crore Property Loss
Bollywood is in turmoil as two of its most celebrated stars face back-to-back crises. Kareena Kapoor Khan, the beloved diva of Indian cinema, recently shared a worrying health update with her fans. Just days after her husband, Saif Ali Khan, suffered a massive blow—losing ancestral properties worth a staggering ₹15,000 crore—Kareena’s health took a turn for the worse, landing her in the hospital.

It all began when Kareena posted on Instagram, apologizing to her film directors for delays and assuring her fans that she would recover soon and return to work. Her post was met with an outpouring of support, with fans flooding the comments section with prayers and well wishes. “Get well soon, Bebo! We are praying for you,” wrote one fan, while another, more cynical commenter remarked, “So much greed for money that you ended up in the hospital. Have some shame!”
But the real storm was brewing around Saif Ali Khan. Just days before Kareena’s hospitalization, Saif received devastating news from a court in Madhya Pradesh. The court declared his ancestral properties—valued at ₹15,000 crore—as “enemy property” under India’s Enemy Property Act. This law allows the Indian government to seize properties of those who migrated to Pakistan after the 1947 partition and took up Pakistani citizenship.
Saif had obtained a stay order on the court’s decision back in 2015, temporarily halting the proceedings. However, in December 2024, the stay was lifted, and the court gave Saif 30 days to file a fresh claim. No such claim was made, and now the Bhopal district administration has the legal right to take possession of these royal properties—an irreplaceable part of the Pataudi and Bhopal royal legacy.
Reacting to the loss, Saif Ali Khan shared his heartbreak: “No monetary value can be placed on this property. It is emotionally priceless to me. My grandparents and father are buried there. There’s peace, a spiritual connection, and it’s the legacy of our family.” He added, “The land is centuries old, and the palace my grandfather built for my grandmother is nearly a hundred years old. This is not just about money. It’s about the loss of heritage, the end of an era for the Pataudi and Bhopal royal families.”
For Saif and Kareena, this is more than a legal battle—it’s a deeply personal loss, marking the close of a chapter in their family’s illustrious history. As they fight through these challenging times, their fans and the film fraternity can only hope for their strength and a brighter tomorrow.
