Salman and Shaheen had been married for six years and lived with their young son and extended family in the Madina Chowk area. What appeared to be a normal family from the outside hid a deeply disturbing reality. According to police investigations, Salman had been treating his wife as a “sex toy,” coercing her into sexual acts with other men, recording the encounters, and selling the videos for money.

Shaheen was reportedly forced to travel with Salman to various cities—including Gautam Buddh Nagar, Delhi, and even Imphal in Manipur—where she was compelled to engage in sexual activities with multiple men. Salman allegedly arranged these encounters, sometimes involving his acquaintances, and profited from his wife’s exploitation.

Once he was unconscious, she strangled him with her scarf. Initially, Shaheen tried to stage the scene as a suicide by hanging, but her story did not convince Salman’s family, who suspected foul play and demanded a thorough investigation.

A post-mortem report revealed that Salman had died of strangulation, not suicide. Under intense police questioning, Shaheen finally confessed to the crime, revealing the harrowing details of her forced prostitution, the making and selling of explicit videos, and the constant abuse she suffered at her husband’s hands.

SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma of Muzaffarnagar Police confirmed in a press conference that the victim was subjected to extreme sexual exploitation and violence. Shaheen’s confession exposed a network of abuse that spanned several cities and involved numerous individuals.
