Lawyer Shot De@d by Bike-Borne Assailants in Patna City, Locals Protest Against Police Inaction

Patna City, Bihar – Panic spread across Patna City after a prominent lawyer, Jitendra, was shot dead by two unidentified assailants late at night. According to reports, the incident occurred shortly after Jitendra had finished dinner and stepped outside his house for a walk. Two men on a motorcycle approached him and opened fire, killing him on the spot before fleeing the scene.

Upon receiving information about the crime, a large police team arrived at the location and began their investigation. The forensic team collected crucial evidence, including three spent bullet shells found at the crime scene. Police are now reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the attackers.

The incident has left the residents of Patna City in a state of fear and shock. Locals expressed their concern over the deteriorating law and order situation, stating that neither the general public, traders, nor even lawyers feel safe anymore. The crime scene is located in the Mahendru area, considered a posh locality, and is just 300 meters away from the Sultan Ganj police station. Despite the proximity to law enforcement, the murder took place in broad daylight, raising serious questions about public safety.

In response to the killing, the victim’s family and local residents staged a protest in the evening, demanding the immediate arrest of the culprits. Many blamed police negligence for the rising crime rate and unchecked criminal activities in the region.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue their search for the suspects.
