Comedian Bharti Singh Burns ‘Lububu Doll’ Over Concerns for Son’s Behavior—Is the Doll Cursed or Mere Superstition?
Popular comedian Bharti Singh recently set her son’s favorite ‘Lububu Doll’ on fire after claiming that her child’s behavior took a drastic turn for the worse since the doll entered their home. The incident, shared on her YouTube vlog, has reignited worldwide discussions about whether the Lububu Doll, a toy growing in international popularity, is cursed.

Several internet users have claimed that the doll brings misfortune and strange, sometimes tragic, events into households. Some even allege that deaths have occurred in their families after the doll’s arrival. Within her vlog, Bharti explains that she noticed significant changes in her son Gola’s behavior after bringing home the Lububu Doll.
The video shows Bharti, assisted by her son’s nanny—who appears visibly frightened—burning the doll. Bharti’s husband, Harsh Limbachiyaa, looks on in disbelief as the event unfolds. Bharti shares that her son has become much more mischievous since the doll’s arrival. When she tells Gola that she will burn the doll, he insists, “It’s my friend.” Bharti then explains to him that the doll is evil and suggests it has been planting naughty ideas in his mind.
During the burning, the doll is reluctant to catch fire, prompting Bharti and those present to cite traditional beliefs: “Everyone says it’s a form of the devil—it just won’t burn.” Harsh comments humorously that perhaps the doll’s spirit is resisting destruction.
Finally, after burning the Lububu Doll, Bharti declares to her audience, “Friends, Lububu has burned. Evil is dead. Evil always loses and God always wins.” She highlights the triumph of goodness and truth over superstition and fear.
The Lububu Doll has recently been surrounded by controversy, especially after reality TV star Archana alleged that her friend’s father died shortly after the doll arrived at their home. Globally, numerous people have shared similar unsettling experiences.
