Priya Marathe, a renowned television and Marathi actress, passed away on August 31 after a long battle with cancer. Despite 13 years of marriage, Priya was unable to fulfill her heartfelt wish of becoming a mother. Her love story with husband Shantanu Moghe was nothing short of a fairytale, but fate had other plans.

Priya fought cancer bravely for nearly two and a half years. At one point, it seemed she might overcome the disease, but a relapse proved fatal, and she breathed her last on August 31. That evening, she was laid to rest, dressed as a bride, symbolizing her final farewell to this world.
