While many fans showered the family with love, a section of the internet stooped to making insensitive and racially charged remarks about the baby’s complexion. Some even dragged Joy’s father into the conversation, implying that the child had inherited his skin tone from him.

One troll commented, “Bap par gaya hai beta…” (“The son takes after his father…”). Devoleena didn’t hold back, responding with biting sarcasm: “Kyun? Tum padosi par gayee ho kya.” (“Why? Did you take after your neighbor?”)
