Unfortunately, he had recently gone through a personal loss in his family, which affected him deeply.” Chiranjeevi added that Rao’s absence has created a void in the film industry and among his admirers that will be impossible to fill. He concluded his heartfelt message by offering prayers for Kota Srinivasa Rao’s soul and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Prominent actor Mahesh Babu also shared his sorrow on X, describing the loss as “personal.” He wrote, “Saddened to hear about the passing of Kota Srinivasa Rao garu.”
