Can a 12-year-old child donate her first salary of ₹1 crore? While this may sound unbelievable, it has become reality in the Indian film industry thanks to a superstar’s daughter.

Sitara Ghattamaneni, daughter of superstar Mahesh Babu and Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar, recently earned a whopping ₹1 crore from her first advertisement project. Instead of spending the money on herself, the young star kid decided to donate the entire amount to charity.

Sitara, who is always in the limelight thanks to her famous parents, was selected as a brand ambassador for a popular jewellery brand in 2023. She starred in a short film titled “Princess” for the brand, with the shoot taking place at New York’s iconic Times Square. For her participation, Sitara was paid ₹1 crore.

Rather than keeping or spending the money, Sitara asked her parents to donate every penny to help those in need. Her gesture deeply moved Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, who wholeheartedly supported her decision. The entire ₹1 crore from her first earnings was given to charity.

At just 12 years old, Sitara has already emerged as a youth sensation and budding fashion icon, with a huge following on social media. Even before her official debut in films, she has gained widespread recognition for her public appearances and TV commercials. Her lively personality has further fueled fan anticipation about her potential entry into the film industry in the near future.

Sitara’s generous act has won praise from fans and the public alike, serving as a shining example of compassion and good values.
