Hardoi Horror: Woman Takes Severed Nose to Police Station After Husband’s Brutal Attack Over Love Affair

In a shocking incident that has left the entire region stunned, a woman in Hardoi district was brutally attacked by her husband, who bit off her nose in a fit of rage after discovering her affair with another man. A Love Affair Turns Violent

According to reports, the woman had been in a relationship with a young man from her village for the past 10 months. On the day of the incident, she went to meet her lover at his house. When her husband learned of her whereabouts, he rushed to the lover’s home in a furious state.

He tried to persuade his wife to return with him, but she refused. Enraged by her defiance, the husband lost control and, in a shocking act of violence, bit off her nose with his teeth. The woman screamed in pain, but her husband’s anger did not subside. The house was thrown into chaos as family members witnessed the horrific scene.

The Aftermath

The woman’s lover, seeing her grievous injury, quickly collected her severed nose, placed it in a container, and rushed her to the police station. He filed a complaint, detailing the brutal assault. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and arrived at the scene, where they arrested the accused husband.

The injured woman was immediately taken to Hardoi Medical College along with her severed nose. Given the severity of her condition, doctors referred her to Lucknow Medical College for advanced treatment.

Victim’s Statement

Speaking to the media, the victim recounted the terrifying ordeal:
“My husband threatened to kill me and my in-laws were also involved. That’s why I ran away to my lover, Sushil Kumar’s house. My husband followed me there and bit off my nose. Sushil Kumar is from my village, and we had a relationship.”

She also alleged that her in-laws had abetted her husband in the assault.

Police Action and Public Reaction

Police have arrested the accused husband and are investigating the involvement of other family members as alleged by the victim. The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the brutality and calling for strict action against the perpetrator.
