Viral Video: Woman Questions MP Rajesh Mishra Over Unfinished Village Road, Sparks Controversy

A video featuring a woman named Leela Sahu has gone viral on social media, where she is seen questioning Member of Parliament Rajesh Mishra about the unfulfilled promises regarding the construction of a road in her village.

In the video, Leela Sahu points to the muddy, dilapidated road in her village and confronts the MP:
“O MP sir, if you don’t have the courage to get this road built, then why did you make false promises to us?”

Her direct questioning has put Rajesh Mishra in the spotlight. In response, the MP’s comments have triggered controversy. He compared the road project’s timeline to a delivery date, saying:
“There is an expected date, just like a delivery. We’ll get it done a week before that. If she wishes, she can come here and get admitted; we will provide all facilities.”

When pressed further about the delays in road construction, Rajesh Mishra listed several reasons:
“I don’t build roads myself. Engineers conduct the surveys, contractors build them, and a DPR (Detailed Project Report) is made. These projects often take two to three years.”

The incident has drawn criticism from many, including the Madhya Pradesh Congress, which commented on social media:
“The road hasn’t been built, and even empathy seems to have died.”

The controversy continues to grow as citizens demand accountability and timely action from their elected representatives.
