Family Rift in Lalu Yadav’s House: Rohini Acharya Unfollows Family on Social Media

Rohini Acharya, the daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who once donated her kidney to save her father, is currently making headlines for her apparent displeasure with her family. In a surprising move, Rohini unfollowed Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, and other RJD leaders on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Once following over 100 accounts, Rohini now only follows her husband, a poet, and a Singapore newspaper, signaling a drastic change after recent family disputes. The reason behind her anger is believed to be the growing influence of Tejashwi Yadav’s advisor, Sanjay Yadav, which has reportedly reduced the involvement of other family members in party affairs.

Rohini, who lost the recent Lok Sabha election from Saran, has clarified that she has no interest in contesting assembly or Rajya Sabha elections, nor does she seek any position in the party or government. She emphasized that self-respect is her priority.

The ongoing family feud, which began with disagreements between Lalu’s sons, now seems to have extended to his daughter. Many in Bihar sympathize with Rohini, especially given her sacrifice for her father. As the dispute becomes public, questions arise about its impact on the party and upcoming elections.
