Israel Gaza War: Giorgia Meloni ने Netanyahu को दिया झटका, Milan Tourism Fair से बाहर | Italy PM

Israel Faces Global Isolation Amid Gaza War, Italy Expels Israel from Milan Tourism Fair

In the past two years, Israel has found itself embroiled in direct conflicts on multiple fronts, facing accusations of genocide in Gaza. Following recent attacks near Qatar, Israel’s international standing has weakened, with even its allies at the UN distancing themselves. European countries have shown growing discontent, and Italy recently dealt a blow to Israel’s reputation by expelling it from the upcoming Milan Tourism Fair, citing moral and cultural reasons due to the ongoing war.

The Milan Tourism Fair, scheduled for October 2025, will not allow an Israeli stand, a decision supported by local authorities and Italian port workers who have refused to ship weapons to Israel. Italian officials stated that hosting Israel during wartime would damage the event’s integrity and morality.

This move reflects a broader European trend: several countries are boycotting Israel, canceling defense agreements, and halting arms purchases. In 2024, European nations accounted for 54% of Israel’s arms exports, but the devastation in Gaza has led many to reconsider military ties.

Meanwhile, the Gaza war continues. On September 21, Hamas fired rockets towards Ashdod, southern Israel, reviving fears among residents and challenging Israeli claims of weakening Hamas. No casualties were reported, but the attacks highlight Hamas’s ongoing capabilities.

Hamas also released images of 48 hostages still in captivity, intensifying anxiety across Israel. Families of the hostages have called for an immediate ceasefire and pressured Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ensure their safe return. The hostage crisis has united thousands of Israelis demanding government action.

As Israel faces increasing diplomatic isolation and internal pressure over the war and hostages, its future on the global stage remains uncertain. The growing boycott and calls for peace reflect deepening concerns over the humanitarian impact of the conflict.
