A purported video of the shooting has gone viral. In the footage, gunfire can be heard as a voice chillingly declares, “We had called the target but he didn’t hear the ring, so we had to take action. If he still doesn’t hear, the next action will be in Mumbai.” This message has set off alarm bells within Bollywood circles, with many interpreting it as a direct warning to either Kapil Sharma or Salman Khan.

Reports indicate that the attack may have been triggered by an episode of the Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show, where Salman Khan appeared as a guest on June 21st, during the season 3 premiere. Allegedly, Kapil had invited Salman Khan to inaugurate Cap’s Cafe, drawing unwanted attention from Bishnoi’s gang, who have openly threatened the actor in the past.

Sources suggest these violent acts are part of a broader campaign by underworld elements to instill fear within Bollywood and its extended community, both in India and overseas.

Cap’s Cafe responded to the attack with a courageous statement: “We opened Cap’s Cafe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. While we are still processing this shock, we stand firm against violence.”
